Not many horses are capable of creating history and the one who does is remembered forever. Kim bailey trained a horse who ended up becoming the fastest runner and completed the run within 8 minutes 48 seconds at the Grand National. The impossibly fast horse was named Mr. Frisk and Mrs. Duffey of USA was his proud owner.  He won many exciting races including the Grand National with his jockey Marcus Armytage who belonged to the famous Armytage family. He secured the third and fourth position at the Rinus and Brown Windsor race respectively. One of his life’s best performances was the Durham Edition that he won dramatically. He finished the run by three quarters and won a alluring 16/1.

In September 2000, the amazing horse met with an accident by slipping at the lane of country at Aintree and fractured his foreleg. He now enjoys a retired life with Tracey Bailey. Marcus Armytage also took retirement after winning his 100th race at Dubai. He now works as a writer at the Horse and Hound magazine. With this an era of fast races filled with action came to an end but the memories of the fantastic fast winner horse will always remain inside our hearts.
